Heyooo, so I made a game. This game is inspired by Cosmic Chaos and Gang Beasts. The inquiry idea for this game is:

"How do randomized environmental events in local multiplayer party games affect players’ behaviour with each other?"

Project abstract

Couch party games are a compilation of various mini-games and game modes. As the play space is situated where other players are present next to each other, these types of games are generally designed to influence the way players interact and communicate with one another.
Examples of games such as Gang Beasts where you have melee fight sequences that take place in destructible environments. A destructible environment creates a sense of fear in the players and they want to come out at the top of the match. They would try anything to take advantage of other players in the game, by pushing their character off the edge or using destruction against them.

Untitled Game is a couch party game where the game deploys random environmental elements that challenge the player to hinder their goal. The goal objective is to be the last one standing to win the match. I am aiming to experiment with social interaction between different groups of players’ behaviour when playing the game.

This experiment is still ongoing as I frequently playtest the game with my peers and friends. With the critical feedback from them, I am aiming to iterate the game further to polish

---------------------------------------------------------------------

The initial state of the game has 2 mini-games but later down the line, I will be adding more. Please donate if you liked the game though, means a lot.

Side note: You need to play the game with at least two people on one device. So a controller is needed.
